Kawasaki Robotics is proud to announce that Asami Sasao, Senior Engineer with extensive experience developing industrial robot control software at Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ Robot Business Division, has been selected as an honoree for IFR’s Women in Robotics 2026. The Women in Robotics program, established by IFR in 2024, recognizes ten exceptional women each year who are shaping the robotics industry. Honorees are selected from around the world for their impactful contributions to automation, engineering innovation, and the advancement of global robotics technology.
Asami Sasao, who has been engaged for many years in the development of industrial robot control software within the Robot Business Division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, has been selected as one of the awardees of “IFR’s Women in Robotics 2026,” organized by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR).
